We recently presented at SIDF’s Knowledge Month initiative, supported by SAUDI AMHUB, where we discussed how modern infrastructure and advanced digital modelling are shaping the future of urban development in Saudi Arabia. The session covered the national shift toward integrated planning, human-centred public spaces and infrastructure systems that strengthen mobility, liveability and long-term performance.

We outlined how today’s infrastructure work plays a direct role in improving the daily experience of residents and visitors, and how BIM and advanced modelling enhance coordination, minimise conflicts and improve project efficiency.

The presentation included examples from recent projects demonstrating how these methods lead to stronger integration and better delivery outcomes. We closed with the message that investing in effective infrastructure is ultimately an investment in better cities and a higher quality of life.
